The fast-paced writing, the mystery of what happened to his crew, and Mick’s panic-stricken quest to stay alive in a strange future and get back home to his family creates an incessant need for readers to devour each new episode in this serialization. The action of the plot is interwoven with riveting flashbacks that depict Mick’s mistakes leading up to the loss of his marriage and the murder of his wife’s lover. Things Are Picking Up Now...

I enjoyed episode one and dove right in to episode two. It was interesting to see how the story starts to expand here. It's more than just a guy, a human nonetheless, stuck in space with little understanding of what he has missed in cryosleep. We also find that things have happened with humanity (which could effect Mick's own family), that Utopia may exist, and that technology has advanced in some amazing ways. I enjoy the relationship between Mick and XJ; reminds me of quite a few different Human/Robot pairs from other sci-fi movies and television shows. On to number three to see what is next for Mick!

Specific humor

Form this sample (episode 1 and 2) I can describe this book as sf comedy. Maybe it is not intentional, but I can't described it differently. The plot and situations are rather totally unbelievable but I don't suppose it is a flaw in this type of book. If one likes such specific humor than this book can be very good.
I wasn't dissatisfied but wasn't satisfied enough to buy the rest episodes, too.

A different spectrum of sci-fi. Turkot utilizes an imagination wild with visions of past and future yet has trouble with the characters, oe Bots of the present. I was hooked on Vol 1, enjoyed Vol 2, and look forward to more. My own writing is more earthbound and traditional as in my latest "Hot Dive" and "The Rum Runner" .

Great Book! Could not put it down. The writer really put his heart into this documentary. Mr. Lohman holds nothing back and he obviously shares a-lot of details that are close and dear to his heart. The first few nights I read the book it was scary turning the lights off in my bedroom because the details in the book came so alive I was reminded of the evil spirits we are surrounded by on a everyday basis. Praise God for His protection.

This Is A Must Read

An absolute essential part of any Christian's library. Mr. Lohman shares his personal encounters in spiritual warfare and with the paranormal. I have never had these types of experiences and hope and pray that I never do, but there are people close to me who have. As a former Pastor, you always look for Spirit-directed and annointed answers that will help those in their hour of need. Without personal experiences, one has to rely on other like-minded believers to offer up Scriptually sound resources based in the Word of God and that's what you have here in this book. As Mr. Lohman has stated, do your own research, follow the scriptures given and come to your own conclusions about the subject and when you find your answers and real help, give God all the Praise and allow the Holy Spirit to do His work in you.

Simple but interesting

It is clear that Boyde has his own ideas and prejudices about how power and rule should be handled, and these show through in his writing, but his style is casual and conversational, and he walks the reader through a hypothetical rise to power as a way of analyzing how his ideal leader would rule. He is definitely optimistic about how people should behave, though the world is hardly as simple as his ideal model, and he only tangentially approaches the concept of self-interest with regards to climbing a political power structure. Boyde's manifesto, if nothing else, proves an interesting tool for introspective minds to reason out their beliefs concerning power and politics, and to help make the political landscape more "user friendly" both to civilians and potential leaders looking to avoid potential pitfalls.
